Mission Statement

My mission is to introduce and apply Design Thinking to fields beyond traditional design and apply its methodologies to areas like project management and planning, aiming to generate measurable and innovative solutions. The goal is to demonstrate the power of Design Thinking to those outside the design field and inspire them how to apply these techniques in industries.

I believe in the power of design thinking!

The scale of Design Thinking

While it may not be the solution to every problem, Design Thinking is a valuable tool for finding solutions to a wide range of challenges. For example, consider the book ´Designing Your Life` by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. This book explores the process of "designing" a better, happier, and more successful life.

What constitutes a better, happier, and more successful life can vary from person to person. Burnett and Evans recognized that individuals have different values, so in Designing Your Life, they emphasize the "how" rather than the "what."

Through years of research, they developed a framework to help people design and define a path to a better life based on their own values and circumstances.

Organized Problem Solving

I believe that such a framework can be used to create plans that enhance any situation. Additionally, I am confident that effective collaboration is crucial in the creative process and, when well-organized, can lead to the most innovative ideas.

Identify the problem

Define a goal

Create your path

A well-designed plan is only as effective as its execution.

Leadership in Design

A well-designed plan is only as effective as its execution. For a plan to reach its full potential, it requires strong leadership. A great leader must have a clear vision and prioritize the needs of their community, creating an environment where diverse identities can thrive and collaborate successfully.

When people feel unappreciated, their voices are less likely to be heard. Embracing diverse collaboration is crucial for driving innovation.

During my time in New York City, I had the opportunity to collaborate with individuals from a wide array of backgrounds and countries I had never encountered before. My inherent curiosity about different cultures enabled me to connect with them, fostering an environment where they felt more confident and valued during workshops

Team work can make dream work

One of the biggest challenges in the creative industry is finding a team that you want to work with and who also want to work with you. Conflicts can arise for various reasons, leading to distractions and emotional stress for the entire team. It is the responsibility of the team leader to resolve these conflicts and prevent them from recurring.

A team that collaborates toward a clearly defined goal is less likely to experience conflicts that impede progress and negatively impact the final outcome.

Uniting a team is much easier when we share and pursue a common vision

Design a clear path to develop your solution.

Innvation through design

Having a clear goal and a well-defined plan helps prevent distractions and procrastination. Design a clear path to develop your solution. Reframe questions and adapt design thinking methodologies to build tools that guide you toward your goal.

In conclusion, by reframing design thinking methodologies, you can structure and organize processes and creative exercises, leading to the most innovative and diverse solutions for your objectives.
